The Young Families Teen Parent Program allows parents to earn high school credit for attending on-site child and parent development classes. The curriculum includes prenatal information, human growth and development, parent education, healthy relationships, and life skills. Parents have opportunities to participate in activities designed specifically for themselves and their children.
Young Families students make friends and are able to share their dreams and goals with other young parents who have similar stories and situations. The students work towards their high school diploma with the belief that being a parent in high school is NO excuse for a poor education.
